Golf- Will It Be A Good Olympic Sport?

Golf is coming into the Olympics in 2016 and nobody can now stop this however what I will say is that although this is great news for people that love the sport, is it something that the average joe can sit and watch for two weeks??

Of course golf isn’t dull and there are so many people out there that play and watch or do both!. There are also a lot of people that enjoy paying to see the game when the professionals are playing so it is without doubt people will pay to see it at the Olympics.

Any Problems With It Being A Sport?

The one problem that springs to mind is that most of the top golfers are from the UK or US which means it could be a tad unfair. This means that it could be a bit of an unfair contest which is not what people want to happen at the games. The people behind this sport have already said that the top 15 players of the world will get in which means the lovely medals will be going to them right??

They really need a few different events to give the others a bit of a chance which they may be thinking of.

It has a few intital teething problems like most things but I am sure that along with Rugby, Golf will be very welcome in the Games.

Charge up those golf trolley batteries , get those battery accessories going and get ready for some golf action in 2016!
